Horry County Government

Over the past decade, The Brigman Company has assisted Horry County Government, including Storm Water, Parks & Recreation, and Public Works Departments with their wetland regulatory consulting needs on an as-needed basis as their on-call consultant. In addition to conducting wetland determinations/delineations on many sites, we have secured 404 permits, conducted biological assessments, and obtained wetland regulatory approvals throughout the county. 


Georgetown County Public Works

Since 1992 The Brigman Company has supported Georgetown County Public Works with their wetland regulatory issues. We have worked often with the landfill and its staff to conduct wetland delineations, secure permits and approvals, conduct 404 compliance inspections and develop corrective action plans to insure compliance with 404 permits. Additionally, we have helped identify and select borrow areas for cover material and secure 404 permits to access these areas.


Carolina Gas Transmission Corporation

Since 1992 The Brigman Company has conducted alternative pipeline route analysis and completed field determinations/delineations and biological assessments for rare and federally listed threatened/endangered species on over 600 miles of natural gas pipeline corridors throughout the state of South Carolina. Most recently we have assisted SCPC and SCE&G in developing an in-house wetland policy and standard operating procedures for conducting, construction and maintenance activities within and adjacent to wetlands. Additionally, we are engaged by SCPC to participate in an educational seminar on wetland recognition and wetland determination/delineation methodologies.


Georgetown County Water & Sewer District

Over the last several years, The Brigman Company has assisted Georgetown County Water and Sewer District with their wetland regulatory consulting needs. In addition to conducting wetland determinations/delineations on many sites, we have secured 404 permits, conducted biological assessments, and obtained wetland regulatory approvals throughout the county. 


Georgetown Hospital System

Over the last several years, The Brigman Company has assisted the Georgetown Hospital System with their wetland regulatory consulting needs on several of their facilities throughout Georgetown County. In addition to conducting wetland determinations/delineations/assessments, we have secured 404 permits, conducted biological assessments, conducted consultations under Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act, facilitated cultural resources surveys, and obtained regulatory approvals on several sites throughout their coverage area. Recently, TBC secured federal and state authorizations to construct a new hospital campus on Wee Haw Plantation. Authorizations included 404 Individual Permit from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 401 Water Quality Certification from SCDHEC & OCRM, and Federal Endangered Species "Take” Permit for cluster of red cockaded woodpecker.
